简历: Berge Englert is Chair Professor at the School of Physics, Beijing Institute of Technology; he is also Visiting Research Professor and Distinguished Fellow at the Centre for Quantum Technologies, National University of Singapore. He is the Vice President and Scientific Secretary of the Julian Schwinger Foundation for Physics Research. Berge obtained his doctoral degree in physics from the University of Tübingen in 1981, and later conducted postdoctoral research in the U.S. and Germany. With over 170 publications, Berge is known for his contributions to semiclassical atomic physics, quantum optics, complementarity and wave-particle duality, and quantum information. His awards include Singapore’s National Science Award (2006), fellowships from the Institute of Physics, Singapore (2012) and the American Physical Society (2015), and the Yangtze River Chair Professorship (2023). |
