题目:室温金属d波交错磁体的实验发现 |

摘要: 交错磁体是突破了传统铁磁体与反铁磁体的一类新型磁有序态,其核心特征为零净磁化强度和动量依赖自旋劈裂的能带结构。该类材料不仅具有反常霍尔效应等奇异物性,还在自旋电子学应用方面具有巨大潜力。近期,通过系统的实验测量与理论计算,我们发现KV2Se2O为金属性室温交错磁体[1]。其中,材料特有的d波自旋极化费米面结构和高达1.6 eV的自旋劈裂使其成为设计高性能自旋电子学器件的理想材料体系。此外,我们还在KV2Se2O中发现了由准一维费米面嵌套引发的自旋密度波相,这也为研究交错磁序与多体效应间的相互作用提供了一个理想平台。

简历:
李航博士现任中国科学院物理研究所副研究员,主要利用 ARPES 技术探究拓扑材料,低维量子材料,非常规磁体的电子结构; 通过实验手段为拓扑材料的拓扑非平庸特性提供判断性能带结构证据以及探索低维量子材料奇异物性的物理机制。李航博士分别于2013年和2020年在中国科学技术大学和中国科学院物理研究所获得学士和博士学位。并于2020年至2024年分别在丹麦技术大学和瑞士保罗舍勒研究所从事博士后工作。

*Abstract: Beyond conventional ferromagnetism and antiferromagnetism, altermagnetism is a recently discovered unconventional magnetic order characterized by time-reversal symmetry breaking and spin-split band structures in materials with zero net magnetization. This novel magnetic material not only possesses exotic properties such as anomalous Hall effect and spin splitter torque, but bring immense application potential, ranging from spintronics to quantum information processing. Recently, through comprehensive characterization and analysis of the magnetic and electronic structures, we have demonstrated a metallic room-temperature altermagnet with d-wave spin-momentum locking [1]. The highly anisotropic spin-polarized Fermi surfaces (FSs) and the emergence of a spin-density-wave (SDW) order in the altermagnetic phase make it an exceptional platform for developing high-performance spintronic devices and studying many-body effects coupled with unconventional magnetism. *Profile: Dr. Hang Li is associate researcher in Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His current research interest is to investigate the electronic structures of topological non-trivial material, low dimensional quantum material, and unconventional magnet by angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES). He received his B.S. degree in University of Science and Technology of China (2013) and PhD degree in Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (2020). He worked as a postdoctoral scholar at Technical University of Denmark and Paul Scherrer Institute from 2020 to 2024. |
